What a wonderful experience our family had when we toured, questioned, moved our mother into The Springs. What wonderful staff, food, atmosphere. So happy she is there and being so well taken care of!
I have lived at the Springs for 8 months. After the sudden death of my husband, I knew that I needed to be around people so began looking at various independent living facilities. As soon as I walked into the inviting atmosphere of the Springs, there was a feeling like a warm hug - I definitely wanted to be here! The compassion and support of the staff and residents helped me make a smooth transition. It now feels like a family!
It's a great location, the grounds are beautiful and they offer many activities, services, programs, and fun excursions. The food, cooks, and servers are wonderful as well as the drivers and maintenance crew-- and they always have a friendly smile.
The Springs at Clackamas Woods is, hands-down, the best senior living establishment around. After multiple visits to different senior living facilities, my mother selected The Springs as her new home. She always said, the staff and residents are so nice and caring and it feels like a hotel. She was 100% correct, though I might add a few more descriptive words: Compassion, Love, Empathy and Sincerity. The staff go over and above to accommodate the every need of the residents and make them feel loved. I cannot recommend this establishment enough if you are looking for a safe and loving home for your loved one. The Springs and all their residents are "family". The Springs feels like you are an all inclusive resort. My only regret is that I wish I could move in, but not being a senior that's not an option.
The Employees seem overworked and understaffed seems like there missing caregivers during the nighttime and Med techs during swing and day also some nights one person has to watch 2 houses because administration refuses to go in and help their staff
I have heard other residents say "living at the Springs is like being on a land cruise!"
My heartfelt thanks goes out to Lynn Richards at Clackamas Woods! Her never ending patience, understanding and compassion made for a very smooth transition when placing my Mother in independent care at The Springs. It was very obvious that she is proud to represent Clackamas Woods and it showed in her dedication and kindness towards our family! Thank you Lynn!!!
