Thank you Dr. Varela for taking care of me!
I have been suffering from chronic cough and discomfort. From the beginning of my apportionment, the staff was very polite and professional, and the apportionment was on time.( Very important ) Dr. Varela was very thorough with my procedure and my diagnosis. He and his staff took the time to answer all my questions, and did not feel like they were trying to rush me through so they could get to the next patient. I have recommended his office to my friends and family if and when they need a professional ENT DR.
Heidi, the answering service.. has been the only person I've spoken to since the middle of February when I brought my daughter to be seen! However, I did have to call a couple weeks after she was told to get a lab done to get her results... arnt the Drs suppose to call back or at least there assistant? & when I did call I was told that I had to wait for the dr who ordered the test to comment & call back! So i waited and then that was it, originally at the appt dr Nguyen said if there wasn't anything showing on the results, we would schedule for the next action to take! I haven't talked to anybody since, today I called eagerly to figure out why this office is so unorganized & unprofessional as I have called over and over to get a response, Heidi the answering service decided to yell at me with a response about what the dr told her??? My question is why didn't the dr call me and tell me that ? Why I am calling and not getting an answer ? And why am I being left with questions? This was for the Portland office at Emanuel hospital and I plan on taking this to corporate!
