I've had the pleasure of regularly bowling here this past year in a league and I'm impressed with the service week in and week out here. The staff are attentive and friendly and no matter who is working they are practically on a first name basis with everyone in my league which is roughly 60 people. Pretty amazing.
Milwaukie Bowl is a bowlers bowling alley. Old school to the max which is extremely rare in Portland in 2017 as all the alleys now are renovated, filled with large screen tvs, technology, and synthetic wood bowling surfaces.
I absolutely love the ambiance here...the moment you step in the deep thud you hear from the balls dropping onto the real wood surface getting quieter as the ball travels down the lane only to make a violent collision with the pins here is so satisfying. I just love the acoustics here more than other alleys where the sounds often hide behind the loud music, TVs, or crowd noise.

A classic family run bowling alley. The staff was friendly. Complimentary ice water. And the most well organized selection of bowling balls. Glow in the dark bowling on Saturday afternoons is perfect for families.
